Built for construction teams
Apex combines deep roofing operations experience with general-contractor fluency. That means clearer scopes, earlier issue identification and better coordination with the trades around us.
Plans, specifications, alternates and exclusions are reviewed early so the roofing scope is clear before mobilization.
Roof assemblies, product approvals, details and procurement are aligned with the contract documents and Florida requirements.
Production, safety, quality control, schedule communication, punch and closeout stay under experienced leadership.
Roofing systems & replacement
From new low-slope buildings and multifamily communities to residential roof replacement, Apex executes the roofing scope around the approved assembly, site conditions and project schedule.
Discuss a roofing projectCommercial & multifamily new construction
Apex is positioned as the direct roofing subcontractor—responsible for roofing labor, supervision, safety, production, quality, punch and closeout. Our general-contractor credential strengthens coordination and gives owners another option when a major-damage scope genuinely requires broader authority.
Residential, commercial & multifamily re-roofing
Apex supports homeowners, commercial properties and multifamily communities with planned re-roofing and storm-driven work. We manage roof protection, scope documentation, approved assemblies, permitting and production; when major damage extends beyond roofing, the GC credential is available if the project requires broader coordination.
We align residential and commercial roof systems, fasteners, underlayments and accessories with the 2023 Florida Building Code, project wind pressures and current Florida Product Approvals. Miami-Dade and Broward projects receive HVHZ-specific review and approved assemblies when applicable.
Florida Product Approval database ↗Florida law does not make every large repair an automatic full replacement. For qualifying roofs built to the 2007 Florida Building Code or later, repairing 25% or more does not by itself require the entire roof to be replaced. Existing conditions, permits and the current code still control the final scope.
Fla. Stat. §553.844(5) ↗Florida law addresses roof-age-only underwriting for homeowners, including qualifying inspections for certain older roofs. For storm work, Apex provides detailed construction estimates, photographs, emergency-work records and scope documentation; coverage decisions remain with the owner and insurer.
Fla. Stat. §627.7011(5) ↗Apex does not interpret insurance policies or adjust claims. Florida law requires a good-faith, itemized construction estimate for insurance-related repairs and reserves coverage advice for properly licensed insurance professionals. Fla. Stat. §489.147 ↗
The Apex standard
Scope, alternates, exclusions and schedule assumptions are easy to evaluate.
Approvals, details, materials, access and sequencing are coordinated before release.
Production, safety, quality and schedule communication stay actively managed.
Punch, warranties, documentation and handoff are treated as part of the work.
Florida focus + regional relationships
Florida commercial and multifamily roofing is our primary pursuit, with Tampa serving as the operating hub and targeted coverage extending through Southwest Florida and the Miami/Fort Lauderdale corridor. Residential re-roofing and storm work remain an important direct-to-owner channel, and we can evaluate statewide opportunities when the project is a strong fit.
