We manage roof protection, scope documentation, approved assemblies, permitting and production; when major damage extends beyond roofing, the GC credential is available if the project requires broader coordination.
Approved replacement systems
We align residential and commercial roof systems, fasteners, underlayments and accessories with the 2023 Florida Building Code, project wind pressures and current Florida Product Approvals. Miami-Dade and Broward projects receive HVHZ-specific review and approved assemblies when applicable.

Florida law does not make every large repair an automatic full replacement. For qualifying roofs built to the 2007 Florida Building Code or later, repairing 25% or more does not by itself require the entire roof to be replaced. Existing conditions, permits and the current code still control the final scope.

Florida law addresses roof-age-only underwriting for homeowners, including qualifying inspections for certain older roofs. For storm work, Apex provides detailed construction estimates, photographs, emergency-work records and scope documentation; coverage decisions remain with the owner and insurer.
